What realistically fits in 50KB
A PDF made from a Word document — text, simple formatting, no photos — is small to begin with; two or three pages of it will land under 50KB with room to spare. Text compresses beautifully because it isn't stored as an image.
Scans are the opposite: each scanned page is a photograph, and even aggressively compressed, a photographed A4 page needs roughly 30–100KB. That's why one scanned page can hit 50KB and three almost never will.
When 50KB genuinely isn't reachable
If a portal demands under 50KB for a multi-page scan, compression alone won't save you, and it's better to know that upfront than to try ten tools in a row. Split the PDF and upload only the pages the form actually requires, or re-scan the original at 150 DPI, grayscale or black-and-white, which shrinks the source before compression even starts.
