How to delete pages from a PDF

Scans pick up blank backs, duplicate pages, and cover sheets you don't want to send. Deleting them leaves a clean document with the pages in the same order, minus the junk.

Open Remove Pages

Step by step

  1. 1Open the Remove Pages tool and drop your PDF in.
  2. 2Select the pages you want gone — single pages or ranges.
  3. 3Download the trimmed PDF with only the pages you kept.

Delete pages vs. extract pages

Removing pages keeps everything except what you select — best when you're throwing away a few unwanted pages. Extracting does the opposite: it keeps only what you pick.

If you want a short pull from a long document, the Extract Pages tool is the quicker way round.

Check the page numbers first

Note the exact pages to remove before you start, especially in a long file — it's easy to delete page 12 when you meant 21.

The remaining pages keep their original order, so the result reads exactly as before minus the gaps.
